ATD All Terrain Dolly

The dolly that started it all. This is the original all terrain dolly with over 18 years on the market. It was designed to go off-road with a piano. Featuring six 9" pneumatic slick tires, with the center 2 wheels 1" lower to offer a 360 degree turning radius. The tires are 4 ply with 50lb. PSI to handle the heaviest loads. The slick tire allows “no drag" turning and does not pick up dirt, rocks and debris that can be carried into the home. This dolly is also great on tile and hardwood floors because the tire gives and does not damage or mar customer’s floors. No more walk boards and hiring extra help to move them. A must have for the serious mover.Own the original.42" long x 19 ½" wide x 10 ¾" high all steel frame Weight 45lbs.

Pro Dolly

This dolly should be an industry standard. With over 30 years of piano moving experience, I feel this design is one of our best. It features Colson Performa 6"x2" crowned wheels with 5/8 precision steel bearings wrapped in a scuff free soft compound soft rubber to provide performance unsurpassed by any other wheels available. Although the dolly operates on a "tilt and turn" design, the crowned wheels do allow some left and right maneuvering. The straight wheel design eliminates the shifting sideways of a swivel wheel dolly when tilting over a step or threshold and avoids damaging door frames, the piano, or other load. The crowned wheels also easily roll over and shed small rocks and debris that stop or cause problems for standard 3 1/2 - 4" swivel wheel dollies with flat wheels. Don't loose another piano or other load because the dolly kicks out when the load shifts. Add this little gem to your arsenal to become a better and safer mover.

Swivel Wheel Dolly

These are the best swivel wheel dollies on the market. They outlast conventional wooden dollies because of the steel construction. We offer the swivel wheel with 5" x 1 1/4" Colson Performa wheels for an easy smooth ride or with 4" x 1 1/2" Colson Performa wheels for a low ride and heavier duty use. Both dollies feature high quality heavy duty swivel rigs for long life.

Van Line Dolly

The Van Line Dolly is the little brother to the All Terrain Dolly (ATD), featuring a slightly shorter frame and the same 9" slick tires as the ATD. Although this dolly can carry over 1000lbs, we recommend using the ATD for loads over 400lbs since the extra wheels offer more stability with extra heavy loads, especially when going over rough terrain. Many moving companies tell us that the Van line dolly has become their primary moving dolly since more homeowners have hardwood and tile floors and the slick tires will not damage their customer's floors.

Digital Dolly

Perfect for moving digital pianos and organs, this dolly was created because I was sick of seeing broken pedal boards on digital pianos. While working large piano shows I was always seeing movers break the fragile pedal boards on digital pianos and keyboards using standard wooden dollies. Many of our customers also use this dolly for moving organs. It is also great for moving oversize objects and large boxes that do not get enough support from a standard size dolly.

***This dolly is not intended or recommended for moving acoustic pianos or other heavy loads.***

The swivel rigs can be locked to give straight wheel stability and safety when unattended. When unlocked it gives heavy duty versatility. 5' and 6' Skid board

The skid board is a staple for any mover who moves grand pianos. Over many years of moving grand pianos we found that the old wooden boards did not meet our true needs. We designed and built a board that made the job easier and safer without breaking and having to be replaced after a few months. First we put wheels on the board so you can roll the piano (or other load) to or away from a flight of stairs rather than wrestling the piano. Secondly we turn up the nose of the board so that it glides over steps and is not stopped by uneven staircases. We also build our board with steel frames, oak and nylon skids (replaceable), and handles that are steel (not stapled straps). These innovative features gives you a durable board that will not break and truly serve the need of the professional or amateur mover. Stock boards come in 5' (5 foot) and 6' (6 foot) lengths, available with or without e-track.

Expandable Grand Chariot

This skidboard and dolly combination is a real "back saver" for movers. It reduces stress on the piano legs and/or pedals (lyre) by raising the height at which you lay the piano down. It eliminates the need to lift in order to put a dolly under it, because it is a skid board / dolly combo. For piano or furniture moves with no stairs this is a real workhorse. This is the perfect tool for moves without steps or moves in which the steps can be ramped.

Chariot is expandable from 5'10" to 7'8" (padded area). As with our skid boards you have a 12" tall head board to give solid, stable handling. The chariot features four 5"x2" Colson Performa wheels with super duty 4 way locking rigs. If you do a lot of moves without stairs you need a chariot in your stable.

We have built custom chariots from 4'10" to 9' with as many as 8 casters. If you have special or custom needs we will work with you to satisfy that need.

  • Grand Chariot is expandable from 5'10" to 7'8" (padded area)
  • Four wheels that lock in 90 degree angles independently with super duty 4 way locking rigs
  • Spans multiple steps at a time
  • Ideal for concert grands
